Zombie Dice

While Rick Thornquist and Doug Garrett are praising a Euro game named “Vinhos” which is an overcomplicated Euro game that made Greg Schloesser’s head spin, I take a look at the opposite end of the spectrum.

I have always had a soft spot for Steve Jackson from his classic game “Ogre” to his computer card game “Hacker” to his “Car Wars” game and forgiving him for his overindulgence in “Munchkin”. The fact is Steve Jackson was putting out great games when there was literally nothing around but “Monopoly”.

“Zombie Dice” was played to a great reception last night. It is a simplified “Can’t Stop” and has the same push your luck element that I love in my games. The rules are simple and grasped by anyone and the game is very fast making it perfect for anytime you need a quick gaming fix. It is a light and tight game also open to many variants which I am still experimenting with as we speak.

Nothing worse than “wine snobs” in boardgaming.  Eat their brains!!!
