You know part of the problem with being an advocate of the “Cult of the New” is that many of your older games in your collection run the risk of being neglected. I can remember many game nights when I glanced over the game Shark and mentally dismissing the game because it was one of the first in my collection and was old. How wrong I was!

I pulled the game out the other night and it was so well received that many asked why we had not played the game before. For all the talk about beautiful artwork and nice components this game is a Plain Jane yet she kicked some serious ass.

The interaction and Wall Street frenzy this game generated was wild and very exciting. This game has moved back to a top shelf game for me and truly lives up to its name Shark. I like how no one starts with any money and setup is easy. The only problem is that there is not enough money in the game and you do a lot of money changing but have no doubts this game is a top shelf winner!

Note: BBcode and smileys are still usable.
